What prompted you to go into Healthcare?
I began a career in behavioral health and decided I would like to expand into nursing in order to focus on the holistic health of others in relation to their mental health. I currently have a BA in Psychology and am back in school with the ultimate goal of becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner!
Why did you decide to start Traveling and what was your first assignment like?
Traveling is the perfect fit for me due to my hunger for variety, freedom and growth. I like being able to have options when choosing a work placement and have enjoyed working with Alliance in this process!
What is your favorite thing about Traveling?
I have learned much more than I have being stationary in the past by traveling and meeting so many new patients and other healthcare professionals. This is something that I feel can be beneficial for someone at any level in the nursing profession.
What is the hardest part about traveling and how do you overcome it?
Traveling can be a challenge when entering a new facility and learning a large amount of information at once. I have found that being a good teammate and having confidence in your abilities goes a long way!
How long have you been traveling? # of assignments? Locations? Traveling goals?
I have been traveling for almost a year now and have four assignments total. My goal is to travel as a nurse in the near future.
Anything in particular that stands out to you when traveling with Alliance Medical Staffing?
I have always felt that support and communication are of high priority to Codi and other staff at Alliance, which improves the work that is done on site for both myself and others!
